You don’t have to hold it all together anymore
Therapy for those who feel like they’re too much—and never enough—all at once
Does this sound like you?
You look like you’ve got it together—but inside…
You’re anxious, overwhelmed, and doubting your worth
You say “yes” when you want to say no, then second-guess yourself afterward
You avoid conflict to keep the peace, even when it means abandoning your own needs
You replay conversations, worry you said the wrong thing, or feel anxious that people might pull away
You carry a deep pressure to be everything for everyone—and it’s exhausting
Even small things can trigger big reactions, leaving you feeling sensitive, reactive, or “too much”
If you’re nodding along, you’re not alone—and you’re in the right place.
There’s a reason you feel this way
These patterns often started as ways to keep you safe, avoid rejection, or stay connected to others—even if it meant disconnecting from your own needs.
Over time, they can become automatic—shaping how you show up in relationships, how you speak to yourself, and how you feel about your own self-worth.
Together, we can understand where these patterns came from and heal them at the root—so you can feel more secure in your relationships, trust yourself more deeply, and show up with confidence as your full, authentic self.
You deserve to rest without explaining, to set boundaries without fear, and to feel worthy—just as you are.
Meet Julie
Julie Carr, BA, MA, RCC
Hi, I’m Julie—a Registered Clinical Counsellor and fellow human who knows how exhausting it can feel to constantly chase “enough.”
I work with people who’ve always been the reliable one. The helper. The high-achiever. The one who holds it all together on the outside, but struggles with anxiety, self-doubt, or the weight of past stuff underneath.
As a millennial therapist with a modern, relational approach, I offer more than just a space to vent—I help you get to the root of what’s keeping you stuck. Maybe you can’t quite put your finger on why you feel this way—you just know you’re tired of carrying it all. We may explore how early experiences, attachment wounds, and trauma may be showing up in your present-day patterns—then work together to shift them with compassion and clarity.
You don’t have to have it all figured out—we’ll untangle what’s going on, one layer at a time. My style is warm, supportive, and real. It’s like a candid conversation with someone who gets it—and is here to help you move forward.
