Services
Individual Counselling
Individual counselling, also known as psychotherapy or talk therapy, involves working in a one-to-one session format with a trained clinician in a confidential setting.
Depending on your goals, we may spend time processing significant or painful memories, exploring thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and gaining insight into how you move through life. You may identify areas where you desire healing or change, gain psycho-education, develop coping strategies, and/or set personal goals.
Counselling is an individually tailored service, get in touch to discuss your specific needs and goals.

Specialization
Untangled Connections Counselling works with adults who want to change their patterns of emotions, thoughts, beliefs, or behaviours.
Perhaps you’ve grown tired of carrying beliefs like “I’m not good enough” or “I’m unlovable”. Maybe you’re hoping to find relief from the all-too-familiar persistent anxiety, and low self-esteem. Perhaps you're tired of constantly people-pleasing, and relentlessly criticizing yourself.
We are passionate about working with clients who want to delve into understanding where their patterns come from and begin changing them by starting at the root cause.
EMDR Therapy
Untangled Connections Counselling offers EMDR Therapy
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy is a unique, evidence-based form of psychotherapy designed to diminish negative feelings associated with memories of disturbing events.
Although originally developed to treat trauma, research has shown that EMDR Therapy can be applied to a variety of concerns in addition to trauma--such as anxiety, depression, complicated grief, phobias, and more.
EMDR Therapy helps target difficult memories, problematic beliefs, triggers, and more. EMDR Therapy works to alleviate distress by helping the brain to reprocess problematic material properly: working with memory to heal past and present pain.
